Aldrus - The Shadow Hunter of Nami - Namikage

Description (picture optional): Aldrus is tall and lithe, roughly 6'4 in height with good posture. He has a lot of hard stringy muscle and seems to have rather stiff bony fingers. His eyes are a steely grey and his hair is a sandy dark colour, more of a salty black than jet. He doesn't have especially wide shoulders but they are distinct. His face is slim and fatless with sharp features and a stern straight nose. High cheekbones and a well proportioned forehead allow him to look very handsome.
His usual Attire consists of a dak grey combat vest and grey fatigues along with long plain boots. He wears his special force arm guards still.

History: Aldrus grew up in one of the civilian villages on the side of the great mountain ranges of the Mist Village. He lived the life of a woodsman and fisherman up until about age 8 at which point it is believed he joined the Hidden Village of Mist. It is said a squad of shinobi was patrolling the coast for intruders into their borders and the Jounin leader had the ability to scry chakra levels. They stopped for a moment and noted the boys incredible intellect and interest in ninjutsu. When the Jounin scryed his chakra he was stunned by the shear volume of it, all placid and potentially under the boys control. He asked the boy to try and focus hs 'force' to his legs and walk up the cliff face. The boy did it effortlessly.

After only a couple of years instruction he was named as exceptional, his talents far superior to many of the Chuunin of the village before he even graduated. He was among the last to sit the original Genin gaduation - the exam that had the village named as the Village in the Bloody Mist. He was pitted against the strongest in his year who he killed in 3 seconds. It however was the Chuunin exams when he made his name. Already as strong as a Jounin he attended the exams in Konoha and called down a dark mist upon the entire forest of Death. Rather than just trying to complete the task he wished to test his skills and assassinated over half the squads in the exams - in the busiest year ever recorded. In the battle he was placed in against the ninja known as the Hidden Grasses greatest potential in years. It took him until he had drawn his sword for the ninja to surrender, and name Aldrus as the future Kage of Mist.
Even as he turned Chuunin he was quickly placed on B and A rank missions. He joined the special Mist Black Ops and before long was infamous, known only as The Shadow Hunter. He was quickly awarded the rank of Squad Leader but always made his superiors edgey. There was still however the time gap between the attainment of the Chuunin rank and Jounin that the Hidden Mist still enforced, disallowing his progression. Due to this, the Kage of Hidden Mist stood down and named him Kage right after he abolished the exams, a rank he and others were satisfied with.

Recently however, after only the first year of being Kage the Islands that form Nami were assaulted by an enemy force. Aldrus requested that the force be withdrawn but their leader denied and mocked him. In answer a mist drew over the entire mountain, thicker than was natural. Over the course of the night half the force disappeared, no corpses were ever found. The rest regrouped and moved into Nami en masse however every village they entered, all the people turned out to be replicants which attacked them and ripped apart their forces. Finally they suceeded in getting within view of the Nami village. There was one figure in their way, his very figure terrifying. The force leader then froze as the illusion broke and what little squad he believed he had left disappeared. Then a figure was beside him, and told him who he was.

Since then he has been renown.

Personality: Aldrus is calm and calculating, he never appears to stress or grow too attatched to someone. He doesn't display heavy emotion but is understanding and often comforting to his villagers. He isn't inherantly ruthless but always sees what is necessary, never sending squads to their death uncessarily or on a whim and certainly never on missions that are beyond them. Nothing that he orders is something he wouldn't do alone.

Items and/or Weapons:
He typically carries a long recurve bow, 68" all hardwood backed and fronted with black glass. This always worn in conjunction with a back quiver. Each arrow is made out of whippy creamy wood and varnished with a slim sharp barbed point. Each is fletched with yellow and black feathers and black thread. He carries spares in a scrolls.

He swears a katana slung behind him (Sasuke Style) so that it doesn't interfear with his bow draw. The katana is plain with little in the way of motiffs, however this is to conceal the fact it is in fact a chakra blade which can channel his Wind element chakra into, allowing it to cut through almost anything.
