Name: Mimura Hayaki
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Rank: Chuunin
Village/Country: Konoha/Fire
Personality/Attitude: Haya is soft-spoken and has a tendency to let others do the talking. He isn't shy or weak, but he finds it more comfortable not to be the one in charge. He's laid-back and has been described as 'steady'. He is usually just 'around', never the center of attention. Because of this, some people who don't look deep enough might assume he's weak or easily led. However, this would be a false assumption. Just because the branch bends, it does not mean it will break.
Affinity
Ninjutsu: 50
Genjutsu: 55
Taijutsu: 45
Appearance or Pictures: Haya is short for a ninja, standing only 5'9. He has an almost heart-shaped face and almond-shaped eyes, giving him a slightly feminine appearance. His eyes are an odd shade of sky blue. His sandy-brown hair, when unbound, falls to his waist, but hardly anyone knows it because he keeps it tightly braided and when he is on missions, he wraps it into a bun. He is slender and athletic, toned but not muscular. Haya's skin is naturally tanned. He wears the standard chuunin uniform without any variations: navy blue top, pants and the olive chuunin vest. He wraps his legs starting from mid-shin and both wrists, but he wears the wraps under his long-sleeved top. The right-hand wrap extends to cover his palm-he has a tattoo of the leaf symbol in the center of his palm, which he uses the wraps to cover.
Relatives/Family: Mother: Mimura (Fuuma) Ayamo, deceased (civilian). Father: Mimura Hamaki/53/Jounin. No siblings.
Background/History:
Haya's childhood was difficult. His father married his mother because Hamaki wanted sons. Ayamo produced only one, and Hayaki never really measured up to his father's exacting standards. Ayamo died when Hayaki was only four. Hayaki was mostly raised by his neighbors, due to Hamaki's mission load.
Hayaki graduated from the academy at 12 and was assigned to a genin team. The night Haya turned 14, he showed up at his sensei's apartment with a bruised cheek and a quiet request-please let me move in with you, sensei. No one has ever managed to get the full story out of Haya, but his sensei's report hinted at some kind of a fight, and physical abuse on his father's part. Hayaki was allowed to live with his sensei, and he had only minimal contact with his father after that day.
Haya's team attempted the chuunin exam twice; once when Haya was 15 and again when Haya was 17. He and his team all passed the second time. Haya, not having a particular desire to do anything specific, eventually took the teacher's exam and was assigned as a teacher's aide and stand-in substitute, a job which he particularly loathes. He and children just don't get along.
